the story: Walking down Battery Park in Asheville, I dodged pedestrians on the sidewalk and coffee drinkers sitting at their tables in front of the cafe. When I looked back, I noticed this guy. Smoking. Writing. He was totally oblivious to his busy surroundings. The thing that stood out was his Chuck Taylor sneakers. I like Chuck sneakers. I’ve worn out quite a few pair. Anyway, here’s to Chucks, and writers and other creative persons. Enjoy.
