The ferry crossing from Cedar Island to Ocracoke Island, NC lasts two hours and fifteen minutes. On a sunny, calm day, the ride can be relaxing. On stormy, windy days, it can be interesting. This was one of those relaxing rides. People like to stand at the front of the ferry to watch the slowly approaching island. I know I do. Anyhow, here's to sunny ferry rides and island life.
