I'm still talking about this experience. My first time clamming. Standing in one foot of water with a rake looking for these rock-like things in the silt. Two and a half miles from the nearest shore (that's Ocracoke in the background). And a lot of sunshine. You just gotta experience it for yourself. And the really good part is afterwards, clambake and beer.
